Thanks for attending the Streetscape celebration on September 20, 2009 at 2:00pm. The celebration was held in the roundabout area in the 200 block of State street in Augusta.
Light refreshments were served and several short speeches were made during the celebration.

Well, come downtown and take a look! The Streetscape Project is coming along as promised, with very, very few complaints. Remember - It's everyone's downtown. The project is nearly complete. The irrigated flower are done and the roundabout gardens should be completed soon. The bushes and trees for both sides of State street will be placed at the end of summer to ensure proper growth and health. The Prarie State Bank Clock has been placed in the Roundabout. The Project is now finishing up.

For a community Augusta's size, this project was a huge undertaking, but it shows that the possibilities to our community are endless.If we all work together, who knows what can be accomplished!
