Community National Bank is now open as a full-service banking center in downtown Augusta. But while the bank is new to the community, the banker is a familiar face. Community National Bank  is now open at a full-service bank in downtown Augusta in January.  Hours of business are 8am – 6pm Monday through Friday.

Downtown Augusta Inc. is proud to announce the addition of a new supporter. The Butler County Times Gazette moved to a new location on State Street during December and made the commitment to support downtown Augusta and our many events and economic development initiatives.  If you would like to get involved in all of the exciting things we have coming your way in 2015 give Cindy Hicks at call at 775-4585.

A bit of a flu epidemic is going around and Cooper Drug Store is still offering the flu shot if you haven't gotten one yet. The folks at Cooper say that while the current strain that is spreading is H3N2A\Switzerland and the vaccine was for H3A\Texas the CDC is still encouraging people to get vaccinated because some antibodies are better than none.
