The Downtown Farmer's Market is a great success , offering fresh vegtables, wonderful baked and canned goods and fresh flowers. Thanks to all who support the Farmers Market. The Market continues to grow each year.
The Augusta Farmer's Market is a collaborative initiative committed to providing community access to fresh, local foods and food products; supporting local farms; educating the public about food and agriculture; fostering connections between farmers and consumers; and supporting the local economy.
Rain or shine, all season long, market members bring their harvest into town so that we can purchase food that comes from the ground around us. We all benefit from farmers coming together in one location to sell their goods directly.
